About Us

The Grosse Pointe Public Library Board of Trustees approved the creation of the Grosse Pointe Library Foundation in 2003 for the purpose of soliciting and administering funds for annual, capital and endowment purposes related to the library system.  The Foundation is responsible for the Annual Fund, the ongoing Capital Campaign, Endowment and all other fundraising efforts on behalf of the library.  The Foundation is the philanthropic source of financial support and an advocate for the Grosse Pointe Public Library.

The Grosse Pointe Library Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that is governed by the Library Board of Trustees.  The Board is composed of committed individuals with diverse personal, academic and professional backgrounds who share a passion for our library and an abiding love for the Grosse Pointe community.
